PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol) is a specialized material that fully dissolves in water, leaving no residue. It is used in carp and feeder fishing for the precise, localized delivery of groundbait and tackle.

A PVA bag is used for larger, targeted portions of loose groundbait or a mix, allowing the hook to be safely sealed inside. PVA mesh is more often used for "Sticks" (Stick Mix) — cylindrical portions of bait threaded onto the leader.

Fast Melt dissolves within 30-60 seconds. It is ideal for cold water, shallow areas, or quick fishing sessions. Slow Melt dissolves over a longer period, making it suitable for warm water and fishing at greater depths.

Since PVA materials dissolve in water, you can only use oil-based liquids (e.g., fats, oils, certain boosters) that do not contain water or alcohol.

Place the hook and bait inside the bag or mesh first, and then fill it with groundbait. This ensures that the leader and main line are neatly contained upon casting, guaranteeing a 100% tangle-free setup on the bottom.
