Description

Sunline Siglon PE ADV x8 cord is a new generation of the popular Siglon PE x8 cord. Thanks to the use of modern technology - impregnation of the DRT (Deep Resin Technology) cord, the manufacturer has managed to significantly improve some of the characteristics that affect the comfort and success of fishing in general. The new cord now does not absorb moisture at all, since a special resin penetrates deeply between the fibers of the material and makes its structure homogeneous. This allows it to have a constant mass and easily fly off the spool during casting, in addition, the likelihood of sticking to the rod blank is eliminated. The Siglon PE ADV x8 has become smoother - the friction coefficient against the rings has decreased (by about 25% compared to the Siglon PE x8), which also affects the casting distance. One of the most important characteristics of the line - the abrasion resistance has been increased 3 (!) Times, so it will stay in working condition longer, even if fishing takes place in difficult conditions - in snags, sedge thickets or on the bottom covered with a shell. The rigidity of Sunline Siglon PE ADV x8 has become slightly higher compared to the classic Siglon PE x8 and this significantly reduces the likelihood of entanglement during fishing. Its breaking load remained comparable to the previous generation of thread, but it is worth considering that the manufacturer indicates on the packaging averaged data, closer to real fishing conditions. For clarity, the label also shows the maximum possible values that were achieved in laboratory conditions.

The Sunline Siglon PE ADV x8 line, taking into account all its characteristics, is suitable for various types of spinning and casting fishing, especially for jigging, and it is also advisable to use it in feeder fishing, where contact with the bottom is inevitable and abrasion resistance comes to the fore.
